Film FATE  – the winner of best Young film maker on BIRMINGHAM FILM FESTIVAL

and 3 days of features, shorts and documentaries on our main theatre screen as well as seminars, conventions and Q&As with special guests. Distributors, producer and press from all over the world will be on hand to see the films screened and be available for you to network with. All films, all genres and all people are welcome.

We will have a high calibre panel of special guest judges from various areas of the industry who will review all the nominees and select the winners.

Other events and networking opportunities to be announced closer to the date. These will include seminars, Q&As, conventions and expos. These will be FREE to enter.

Many of the industry’s top companies and film schools will be in attendance for advice and careers opportunities.

Awards will be handed out at a Gala Awards Ceremony at the end of the festival, to which everyone is welcome to attend.

There are a range of event on during the festival, including screenings, networking events, distribution and funding seminars as well a great chance to socialise with fellow industry people.
?Most of the events take place in our two main venues, meaning it’s easy for you to interact with many delegate and avoid missing out on our exciting programme.

The Mockingbird is in the heart of Birmingham’s creative quarter The Custard Factory, the 100 seat auditorium hosts a programme of theatrical, musical and cinematic events in a unique and intimate environment.

?This is a great place not only to view some of the best films around but to network with actors and directors and crew about your next project!
